I have been living in Mallorca since 2006. Initially permanently, but now commuting between Düsseldorf and the island. I founded bm concierge in 2008. During this time, I have had hundreds of conversations with entrepreneurs, families, and personalities looking for a retreat in Mallorca.
And I learned one thing: language makes a bigger difference than most people think.
Why a German concierge in Mallorca is more than just a translator.
When you come to Mallorca, whether for two weeks, two months, or longer, you don't want to have to deal with misunderstandings. You want things to run smoothly, without having to explain what you mean three times.
A German concierge understands you not only linguistically. They understand how you make decisions. What is a matter of course for you. And what is non-negotiable for you.
Cultural understanding in practice.
German customers have different expectations than, for example, Spanish, British, or American customers. Not better or worse. Just different.
What this means in concrete terms:

You don't want tentative solutions. You want clear commitments. When I say „I'll organize that,“ then that's what happens. If it's not possible, I'll say so immediately—not three days later. - Quality before compromise.
Better an honest rejection than a half-hearted solution. German customers appreciate it when you say, „This villa isn't right for you, let me find you a better one,“ instead of trying to sell them anything.
I know both worlds.
17 years as a concierge in Mallorca means I know how things work here. And I know what German customers want. The trick is to bring the two together. With the right partners, at the right time, in the right way.
Example: Restaurant reservation:
A Spanish restaurant tells you at 8 p.m., „No problem, just come on over.“
For Spaniards, this means: We'll find a table.
For Germans, this means: It is reserved.
As a German concierge, I know that I need to call ahead. I confirm. I make sure that the best table is reserved—not just any table. That's the difference between „worked“ and „worked perfectly.“.

Incentives and business travel
An entrepreneur organized an incentive trip to Mallorca for his team. The invitations were sent out from Düsseldorf, and the guests came from all over Germany.
I coordinated both sides: transfer times planned with German punctuality, restaurant reservations with backup options, German contact person on site for all questions.
The result: everything is going according to plan. Only with a sea view.

You invite your most important customers to Mallorca. The dinner must be perfect. Punctual. Discreet. No „Mallorcan sense of time“—just German reliability in a Mediterranean setting.
