Why my expertise is not a freebie. And concierge service is not a self-service store.
I don't normally take time for posts like this, especially now when my concierge service in Mallorca is in particularly high demand.
But sometimes you have to say things before they become ingrained.
Because now, at the start of the season, the number of requests is increasing again, which are formulated in an extremely sympathetic way but ignore one thing:
My time is also valuable. My expertise is not a freebie. And creating an offer is work - not a favor.
Concierge service in Mallorca - what's behind it.
Private individuals and companies. Everyone wants Mallorca. And they all want one thing: Access.
To special locations. To reliable service providers. To experiences that you can't google and that redefine standards.
But what many overlook: Access is not an address. It is relationship, experience, responsibility.
And that's exactly what I'm commissioned to do. Or not.
I love what I do.
I like being a host, a facilitator, a scout, a planner, a problem solver.
But I am also an entrepreneur. And yes, I have a lot to do.
What I am not: a free source of information.
No shortcut to insider tips. No personal Google for Exceptional accommodationtop chefs, yacht charter or transfer providers on Mallorca.
And yet I come across this again and again.
In friendly requests, charming conversations, well thought-out PDFs with a "rough concept" that I should please fill with my network.
With attention to detail, of course.
Naturally with high standards.
At the best price, of course.
Without a clear budget, of course.
And unfortunately: without any understanding of the value of my performance.
What many do not see.
My work doesn't just start with the event.
It starts with the selection of my contacts. With building trust. With experience that develops over years and is not completed with a coffee or an inquiry.
If you want a perfect location today, you need more than just a list.
He needs someone who knows what he's doing. And that's exactly what I am.
With heart, reliability and a clear understanding of values.
I would therefore like to make one thing clear.
I don't give my concept to anyone.
I don't allow myself to be questioned, only to read at the end: "Thank you, we'll do it ourselves now." If at all - usually nothing more comes.
I develop, accompany and realize. At eye level, with fairness and with a fee. Period.
And to all those who understand this.
I look forward to every project that thrives on genuine trust.
I open up my network when I know that both sides appreciate it.
And I'm prepared to make anything possible for people - as long as they don't expect expertise and commitment to be included in the price of lunch.
