As a personal concierge, I hear this question quite often. And I really like it.
There are people who organize everything themselves.
They just don't want to do it anymore.
Not because they can't. But because their time is better spent elsewhere.
Schedules, travel, real estate, guests, staff, special requests. A quick gift. Something quick for Mallorca. And if something doesn't work out along the way, you just look for a solution yourself.
Individual tasks are never the problem. It's the sum total.
One sentence is enough.
My clients rarely come to me with a long list.
It's often a question.
„Can you take care of that?“
Yes.
Then I do some research, make phone calls, organize, coordinate, follow up, find the right person, and keep at it until the matter is settled.
Sometimes it's the special Villa in Mallorca, A private event, a corporate incentive with a suitable venue and supporting program. Sometimes it involves staff, a trip, a driver, a special request, or something that doesn't fit into any category.
It doesn't have to. For me, it's not about offering as many services as possible. It's about making sure my customers end up with less on their plates.
Being a personal concierge means that no two requests are alike. It means you have to think outside the box. And it means that a solution often begins where the usual paths end.
Somewhere between a personal concierge and a family office.
It’s rarely the big decisions that take time. It’s the many little things in between. Not every family needs its own family office. Sometimes, all that’s missing is a reliable person to keep the many personal and organizational matters running smoothly behind the scenes.
A house that needs to be taken care of while you're away. Guests who are coming to visit. A service provider you need on short notice. A trip that changes. Staff that someone needs to find and coordinate. A request for which there's no obvious point of contact.
For high-net-worth individuals and families in particular, there is a gap between personal assistance, family offices, and traditional service providers. For their own Family Office Such tasks are often too small for a traditional assistant and too personal. And they’re too specialized for a single service provider. Yet they still need to be done.
It is precisely this gap that me.
